About Us
At Global Soccer Schools our philosophy at the youngest age level is firstly to instill in children a love of the game. As children get older we aim to inspire them to reach greater heights by training and practicing until they can not only master the ball but understand how to play football in the beautiful way it is meant to be played, being creative, having a quickness of touch and scoring goals. We educate our players in cycles with progressive challenges as children’s skill and understanding of football improves.
Our objective no matter what level or age a player is at, is to ensure that at every opportunity the child is learning by enjoying maximum engagement time with the ball. We achieve this by ensuring that all football related core skills are practiced and repeated, individually, in pairs or through small sided games. Our small sided games allow children the opportunity to get more touches and time on the ball with increased dribbling, passing, shooting and decision making opportunities that help in then refining these skills in actual match like situations. As football educators we do not give children the answers. Instead we ask questions or put the players in games or conditioned match play that pose their own unique challenges or questions and allow them to think through, make their own decisions and mistakes, and achieve the answer themselves.
At the highest level we offer our programs where the training at all ages is within more challenging environment and more specific to their long term aims. Our program is an elite program with a specific ‘culture’. We have created an environment where players of similar attitude and ability undertake structured training sessions and matches in either leagues or tournaments in the pursuit of excellence. Players are invited through a meritocracy and are required to meet certain levels of attainment in order to maintain continued attendance within the program.
